Atelier CEC La Hesse, Vielsam (Belgium)

Since 1995, Eric Derkenne works almost every day in Atelier CEC La Hesse, with a great pleasure.

He started with coloured drawings, but now only uses one colour: black, blue or red. He draws only with ballpoint pens with a very strong manner, making sometimes holes in the paper.

Eric Derkenne builds up his works with a very precise and regular gesture. His human figures stands up in the entire paper space, he hates emptiness and tries to fill out the complete surface.

Similar but not identical, each drawing is unique.
